good for my needs Jun 22, 2010 I have had this device for nearly 2 years now and have used it on several PCs. It is CRITICAL that you download the latest drivers from the company website and install them before plugging in the adapter.
The WinXP drivers work really well. The current Win7/Vista drivers need some work, which they apparently are doing. If you need to work on Vista or Win7 get the newer UV200 device instead of the UV100.
This device is NOT meant for use as a video or gaming display and you will be very disappointed. It works wonderfully for office apps and remote desktop work. My primary use for this is for remote desktop work on servers.
Great product but BEWARE OF KEYLOGGER! Dec 20, 2009 Highligts: Great, clear and simple instructions! I successfully installed in about 5 minutes, works great with my old Laptop (USB 2).
Downside #1: When installing my SpyBot spyware protection intercepted an attempt to also install a KEYLOGGER - Shame on Tritton ($%#$@&%$'you) but otherwise the product works great.
Downside #2: I bought this item off-the-shelf at Micro Center for $49.99 (not on sale), thus one always needs to double-check to see if Amazon offers the best price.
Cheers.
Good product, bad installation instructions Dec 19, 2009 This is a great product once you get it properly installed. I have a new computer with 'Windows 7' and the driver installation disk for this product did not have a driver for Windows 7. I got no response from an email to the manufacturer and after searching their web site I found a download for the driver. A great product and if you have Windows 7 just go to the Tritton web site and get the driver.

Not Compatible with Windows 7--No Tech support Oct 25, 2009 My Tritton UV100 has been working fine with Windows XP, but I was surprised to learn that
1. it does not work with Windows 7
2. there is no tech support for this issue
3. there is no information on whether or when this will be addressed
This is unforgivable since beta versions of W7 have been available for a long time and it should not be difficult to create new drivers
Perfect for what I needed Mar 04, 2009 Installing the software proved to be difficult for an unknown reason. My PC did not like reading the CD, but it got through it, albeit slowly. The reviews I read indicated the product could not display fast moving video/graphics very well. This is accurrate. As long as you don't plan on using the extra moniter for gaming, this is the best/cheapest option for expanding your desktop. I just make sure to watch all my videos on my primary screen. I am very satified with my purchase and I believe you will be as well.
